Students in Grades 1-7 Will Be Honored at Awards Assembly
The Awards Assembly is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19 for students in grades 1 to 7. Parents are encouraged to attend. Awards will be given out for academics, improvement, and arts. Kindergarten Students Make CDs
Dr. Zirkle is so proud of all of her kindergarten students as they approach their Moving Up Ceremony on June 17th. Each student received a CD that includes songs they sang and music played on the violin. Apply now for the Early Youth Engagement Through Science (eYES) summer program for 6th through 8th graders. The program is free! The deadline has been extended to Sunday. eYES is a new 5-day program for middle-school students that introduces students to Smithsonian science through behind-the-scene tours, field trips, conversations with scientists, and fun activities. Summer School Registration Is Still Open
If you plan to send your child to summer school, registration is $50.00. Summer school starts on July 1 and ends August 2. The school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no before or after care. Call the school office for more information and to register.
