Classes and Conservatories

Our school day begins at 8am and ends at 4pm, providing WEDJ students with 90 more minutes of instructional time each day than students at traditional DCPS schools. This extra time enables us to focus deeply on the arts as well as provide intensive academic instruction for any student who needs additional help.

Because our students include a wide range of ages, we tailor our arts instruction to meet their needs and abilities. Your child’s schedule may differ slightly according to his or her particular interests and needs.
